Dear Family and Friends,
We have just finished a whirlwind month! Darla and I attend and lead many meetings here at our YWAM base in Orlando. In addition, I taught in our Bible Core Course, the Basic Leadership School, the School of Ministry Development, and at our Family Night. I also spoke at United Community Fellowship in Wildwood, FL; Calvary Assembly in Orlando, FL; Westover Church Youth Group; PA Mission Builder Picnic; alumni gathering at Ephrata United Zion Church; and Hammercreek Mennonite Church in PA.
In addition to working full-time, Darla, Justin, and Joshua volunteered to help with set up in preparation for the large youth group from Westover. Kristen, in addition to doing very well in school and giving piano lessons, also volunteered with our youth department to prepare drama/choreography for the summer outreach teams.
GOD’S ENCOURAGEMENT ARRIVES WRAPPED UP IN A YOUTH GROUP!
On June 18, a team of 225 from a large church in North Carolina arrived with a semi-trailer full of luggage and supplies. They donated paint, a utility golf cart, and much, much more. This team gave our campus a face lift by clearing brush, picking up debris’, moving, mulching, painting, and more... With the delays we have faced due to need for electricity and the
permit process with the county, we especially need some encouragement, and God’s encouragement came wrapped up within a dynamic youth group from Westover Church. This church will always have a special place in our hearts.
Darla and I are so extremely grateful for your friendship and partnership. It’s our desire to send out a monthly update, but we realize that we have missed two months already this year. We are sorry for our neglect and are doing our very best to communicate during the most intense time in our ministry years. I think one reason this is so intense is that it has been a prolonged time, but we are more convinced than ever that God has great things in store for us here at YWAM Orlando! In fact, in many ways, we believe the battle is intense because of the tremendous fruit that God will produce from this thriving training campus!

On July 10th, Michael will be speaking at Groffdale Mennonite Church (at a retreat location) in PA, and at 4:00 PM Michael and Darla will share vision at YWAM Orlando’s first Bocce Ball Tournament, hosted by Carl & Fan Smucker at their home in Gordonville, PA There’s still time to attend.
